Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to take admission to the B.Tech course at MIT-WPU must meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech course at MIT-WPU can be found given below.

Candidate must have completed Class 12th from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.

Admission to the B.Tech course at MIT-WPU is done on the basis of marks scored by a candidate in the JEE or MHT-CET examination.

Admissions

B.Tech admissions at MIT World Peace University are done on the basis of marks scored by a candidate in either the state-level Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The marks scored by a candidate in the High School Certificate (HSC) are also taken into count when considering a candidate for admission to the B.Tech course at MIT-WPU.

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject AND Secured minimum 50% marks (minimum 45%marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject added together.

MIT-WPU Cut-off 2023

MIT World Peace University follows an entrance-test-based admission policy for its UG and PG courses. It accepts a number of national or state-level entrance exam scores for admissions. It also conducts institute-level entrance tests like MIT-WPU MEET, UGPET, PGPET, MIT-WPU DAT, etc. As a result, the university prepares and publishes the course and entrance-test-specific MIT Pune cut-off lists after the completion of the entire admission process. Students can look at these MIT-WPU cut off ranks to understand how much to score in the entrance exams.

As the university accepts multiple entrance exams for a single course, the MIT Pune cut-off list comprises cut off ranks for multiple exams. For example, the MIT-WPU B.Tech cut off list includes MIT Pune cut off JEE Mains and MIT-WPU cut-off for MHT-CET.

MIT World Peace University (WPU) is a private university in the Indian city of Pune. WPU was founded in 2006 by the Institute of International Education (IIE) in New York, USA.
