Eligibility Criteria To Get Admission In DSCE

The eligibility criteria for admission to undergraduate programs at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) are as follows:

1. Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects.
2. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories of Karnataka State) in the above subjects taken together.
3. Candidates should have a valid score in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) UGET or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.

For admission to postgraduate programs, candidates should have completed a relevant undergraduate program with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State).

Admission Procedure at DCSE

The admission process at DSCE is conducted through common tests that are conducted by state agencies and national agencies like CET and COMMED-K. It commences in the month of March every year and concludes on 31st July of the same year. The lateral entry (Diploma Quota) through CET is for 3rd semester and commences in the month of July/August.
