Eligibility Criteria
The basic requirement is 50% aggregate marks in B.Tech. From any recognized university.
Results/ Scorecards of recognized entrance examinations are considered. These include PESSAT, PGCET, and GATE.
Candidates are required to register and appear PESSAT exam. The results would be declared 3 days from the day of the test. If it appears using the GATE result, a candidate should compulsorily apply for PESSAT. However, it is not important to take the test.
The student can have the PESSAT hall ticket and GATE rank card and proceed for admission.
Candidates appearing via PGCET need to get admission from the PGCET cell after completing the counselling formality.
Other than COMED-K and PESSAT, scores of UCEED, PGCET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE, and other national level exams are also considered.

Admission
Register for and take PESSAT/ KCET/ both (if eligible) OR register for admission through JEE Mains score from the link https://www.pessat.com/. Participate through counselling to compete for a merit seat based on PESSAT/ KCET/ JEE Mains score/ rank. If a candidate wants to compete through both PESSAT quota and JEE Mains quota, he/she must register separately for B.Tech and B.Tech (JEE) from https://www.pessat.com/. Provisional blocking of seats through higher fee/management/NRI/PIO/OCI/Sponsored quota is also possible.
If you get into PES University through KCET then the tuition fee would be approximately 70,000 per annum.
