It is an autonomous private engineering college located in the educational hub that is Bangalore City. RIT is a part of the Gokula Education Foundation. MSRIT seats are quite costlier for direct admission and the donation amount is applicable for all branches of engineering admission as per MSRIT norms. On the other hand, MSRUAS (Ramaiah University) seat is not much costly for direct admission in MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences.

Ramaiah Institute of Technology Selection Criteria
MSRIT provides admission into B. Arch course based on the NATA exam. Students need to secure a minimum of 40% marks to be eligible for admission.
MSRIT B Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates applying for admission in the BE course must pass the eligibility criteria. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent exam from a recognized university. The mandatory subjects should be Mathematics and Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as optional subjects.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in aggregation. For the SC/ST and OBC students, aggregate marks are 40%.
